NPM day #3

Speaking of Joyce Sidman the other day, today’s poem is another one written by her.  It’s yet another poem from “Firefly July: a Year of Very Short Poems” (collected by genius Paul B. Janeczko and illustrated by amazing Melissa Sweet).  Today’s poem is in the Spring Section and is full of bright colors and patterns that catch the eye.  How can anyone resist?  And it has the perfect choice of words: cinnamon kisses, noisy courtship.  And that delightful last line really brings it home.  Again, I assume the image is big enough to read it.  If not, let me know and I will gladly type up the poem as well.
