Today I highlight the text of “Things to Do” by Elaine Magliaro, illustrated by Catia Chien.  I love the way she picks such simple things to dwell on and cherish.  There are such simple joys here that perfectly capture a child’s perspective.  I think this poem about a snail perfectly encapsulates what she is trying to do in the book, so I share it here today:
