And you can’t talk about Jane Yolen poems without mentioning a fairy tale or two.  I adore Jane’s interpretation of fairy tales.  “Grumbles from the Forest: Fairy-Tale Voices with a Twist” is also co-authored with Rebecca Kai Dotlich, but this time it is illustrated by Matt Mahurin.  The illustrations tend to be a bit more darker than the other collection we saw yesterday, and no surprise as fairy tales tend to be a bit darker than Mother Goose.
