Today’s poetry picture book is told entirely in haiku (even the review blurbs on the cover! I checked!).
HAIKU KAIJU AH-CHOO! is an incredibly fun spin on a kaiju (a Godzilla-like creature) that has a cold and goes looking for a solution. It should be no surprise that there is unexpected mayhem. What is a surprise is that every single aspect of this book is done in haiku. It’s both brilliant and hilariously fun at the same time.
