NPM 2020 Day 11: Thanku

This wonderful collection reminds us to be thankful every day for all the little things we take for granted.

“Thanku: Poems of Gratitude” is a wonderful collection of poems edited by Miranda Paul, written by a WIDE variety of poets (many of whom I recognized), and illustrated by Marlena Myles.  I love collections like this.  There’s a stunning variety of subjects people are thankful for and an incredible variety of poetry forms (I think there’s a different form on every page!).

I think I’ve said this almost every day so far this month, but … yet again, I had a hard time choosing just ONE poem to share.  I had many favorite poems (and many favorite poets) that I really wanted to share.  But in the end, I chose the one that I loved the most.  This is a gem that shines in a mine of gems though.
