Today’s picture book poetry collection is all about trees.
I’ve been looking for a collection like this for a while. I love trees. I grew up playing in the woods all over the hill behind my house. I love trees even when I developed spring allergies to one of them (still unknown to me) a few years ago. I love listening to the wind blowing through the trees. I love how beautiful they are in winter or spring or summer. And I never cease to be fascinated with the variety of trees in the world around us.
The poem I chose to share today is about a tree I’m actually not familiar with. I was blown away by the layout on the page. The picture combined with the poem is absolutely stunning.
