I had a grand idea for today’s topic, but it just wouldn’t work.  No matter how much I tried.  Then I discovered that there’s another illustrator holiday advent thing going on out there with tons of participants.  I swear I looked everywhere to make sure there wasn’t anything else like this!  Darn.

Oh well.  I’m breaking rule #3.  “DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS!”

So night seems like an appropriate topic for today.  And I realized I didn’t think “holiday” enough on yesterday’s doodle, so … I thought I should do that today instead.  Here is my final result (white fine line paint pen on black card stock):
