Sometimes, at the end of a long day, it can be hard to think positively.  But today’s poetry picture book hopes to change that with a collection of gratitude, prayers, and blessings.
FOR EVERY LITTLE THING: PRAYERS, POEMS, AND BLESSINGS FOR CHILDREN TO CELEBRATE THEIR DAY is a made for celebrating gratitude and thankfulness at the end of every day.  It’s the hope of the editors that this collection of poetry will be read every night as a bedtime book where a daily habit of reflection can be built between a parent and child.  What a wonderful concept!  

Sometimes I have to be more intentional about gratitude and thankfulness myself and something like this would have been so helpful as a child as a place to start.  The poems here are old and new and I had so many favorites!  I know I say that a lot, but I really did struggle to pick just one out of this collection to share.  In the end, I chose a favorite poem about the beach (big surprise, I know).
