Have you discovered Grant Snider’s brilliant poetry comics yet?

So I know this isn’t exactly a picture book, BUT it’s a book full of pictures! I’m going to say it counts. Ha! Grant Snider writes and draws these simple little comic poems that I’ve somehow only discovered online the last few years. He posts them regularly on his feed and they are incredibly introspective (which I absolutely adore). There are tons of poems in this collection that I fell in love with, but the poem I picked felt perfect for kicking off this month’s posts.

While Grant has several poetry comic books, POETRY COMICS was published in 2024 and won an Eisner award. If you aren’t familiar with Grant, you can learn more about him at his website or see more of his comics online here.
