NPM 2021 Day 16: No Voice Too Small

Today’s picture book came out last fall and was highlighted once on my blog already.  Yet it was worth another mention because it’s just that fantastic.

NoVoiceTooSmall_COVER“No Voice Too Small” is the poetry picture book anthology you didn’t know you needed.  Here are a variety of poets writing about fourteen amazing young advocates who were not afraid to speak up and didn’t think they were too young to do so.  If you may recall, editor and illustrator Jeanette Bradley stopped by my blog last fall to talk about this collection.

It’s a collection of poems from Lindsay H. Metcalf, Charles Waters, G. Neeri, Carole Boston Weatherford, and many more.  Each poem uses a different form (which are discussed in the back matter).  The book opens with a reverso poem by Lindsay H. Metcalf that I share with you today.  It’s really the theme for the book and gives you a sneak peek as to some of the kiddos highlighted in it.
