If you didn’t get a chance to look at this one last fall, let me refresh your memory!
FUNGI GROW is an absolute work of art. Maria Gianferrari’s text flows melliflously from page to page (with tons of sidebars of information and back matter that held me enchanted). Diana Sudyka’s gouache paintings were gorgeous on every page, laying out multiple types of mushrooms naturally in one spread. This is a poem that spans the book with scientific information that shouldn’t be ignored.
If you didn’t read the interview last fall, you can read it here.
And if you’re looking for more poetry fun this month, be sure to check out the Kidlitosphere Event Roundup! Thank you for stopping by!

I really want to read this book!
You would love it!
This book is fabulous! We pored over it during a regional SCBWI PB craft discussion group. So much to love!
