I don’t think I even need to admit this (because you’ve probably already figured this out), but I’m definitely a bibliophile. Are you?

Books about books will never get old, but today’s picture book exudes love for kidlit in the best possible ways. WHEN YOU LOVE A BOOK written by Kaz Windness and illustrated by Heather Brockman Lee is a glorious tribute to all of the books you loved when you were little and MORE. It also has an amazing rhyme scheme and I’m daring to say that it’s a continuous poem that is woven throughout the book with a lyrical rhythm that will blow you away. I also loved trying to find so many of my book favorites alluded to in its pages. You can check out the interview with both author and illustrator (who are friends!) here.

And if you’re looking for more poetry fun this month, be sure to check out the Kidlitosphere Event Roundup! Thank you for stopping by!
Ooo, I definitely want to read this one! Just requested it from the library.
