Rebecca Gardyn Levington is a picture book poet that doesn’t get nearly enough recognition.

SOME DAYS I’M THE WIND is a lyrical picture book that utilizes a lovely metaphor. Here a child equates their emotions to different elements in nature and it just flows from page to page, from wind to sea to snow. It’s not only incredibly lovely but a brilliant picture book concept. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out. You can read the interview with Rebecca and see excerpts from the book here.
