THE POET AND THE BEES is a poetry picture book. It’s also a biography that highlights a little known time of her life when she kept bees. In fact, she worked on her last book of poetry while she was a beekeeper. Here Amy Novesky’s poetry sparkles in bringing this story to life, along with the illustrations by Jessica Love. This is a beautiful gem of a book.
